Sven Kottwitz

Sven Kottwitz attended Castle in 1994-97, graduating with a degree in Business Economics. While in Durham Sven was captain, coach and rower for his college’s boat club while also playing volleyball for the university. After Durham, Sven went to London where he met his wife, while also attaining an Economics MSc at Birkbeck College. He qualified as a UK chartered accountant while working at Andersen.

A German national, Sven has lived in London, Johannesburg, Paris and now lives in New York. He specialises in developing infrastructure projects such as airports, roads, stadia, etc. He has worked for company’s such as HSBC, CIT and Meridiam.

A development board member since 2016, Sven continues to enjoy exploring the US from the very international hustle and bustle of New York.
